Rides for Warriors is a program that helps veterans to overcome Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Socializing with friends and family is an effective way to deal with PTSD and depression.

Safe Rides Unlimited is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization (EIN: 20-1536261) established in 2005 with the goal to minimize and prevent Drunk, Distracted and Tired Driving. Our charity has partnered with reputable local transportation companies and negotiated highly discounted rates to provide our customers with safe, luxurious rides at affordable rates. Why is this Important?

At least 20% veterans from the 2.7 million who served in the recent wars suffer from PTSD and depression. PTSD develops in people who have experienced a shocking, scary, or dangerous events. Half of veterans with PTSD do not seek treatment causing alcohol and drug abuse, which leads to rapidly increasing veteran suicide rate.

The symptoms include:

  • Flashbacks—reliving the trauma over and over, including physical symptoms like a racing heart or sweating
  • Feeling tense or "on edge", having angry outbursts
  • Negative thoughts about oneself or the world
  • Lack of interest in social and enjoyable activities

SafeRides works closely with the State Social Services, Local veterans Associations, friends and families of veterans with the goal to save and improve veterans' lives.

With the money you donate, we will arrange a FUN NIGHT OUT, TAKING CARE OF COST OF THE RIDE AND DINING for our vets with their friends and family and give them a chance to socialize and get back to their lives by verbalizing their feeling with their loved ones.
